Fixins🍴 @fixinssoulkitchen Finally made our way to Fixins in Oak Park! We kicked things off with the fried deviled eggs—such a unique twist, and we loved them! For entrées, we had the smothered oxtail plate over rice with greens and the catfish plate with yams & mac n cheese. The oxtails were tasty but would’ve been even better with a different rice. The greens had a unique flavor, and the catfish was seasoned well, but the breading didn’t quite stick. Now, the yams? Fire. And the mac? Super ch

If you’re looking for things to do in Detroit, this might be the spot for you. Fixins is one of the best soul food restaurants I’ve come across in Detroit. It hasn’t been open long, they’ve already made their mark. Good food, great location, and equally as good vibes. Check them out #detroit #detroitfoodie #foryoupage #downtown #downtowndetroit #foodreview #creatorsearchinsights

This is the best soul food I’ve had PERIOD 😮‍🔥🍽️ Fixins Soul Kitchen did NOT come to play… the fried chicken was crispy, WAFFLES FLUFFY, the BLACK EYE PEAS WERE FLAVORED , and the cornbread was on point. Be honest — what’s the first thing you’re ordering from here? 👀👇 #fixinssoulkitchen #soulfood #foodreviewtiktok #blackownedrestaurants #friedchicken

First time at Fixins and baby… we came HUNGRY and ready to CELEBRATE 😂🍗 I’d been wanting to try Fixins, and the whole vibe got me before the food even hit the table. The decor, the atmosphere, the soul food… we definitely had to see what the hype was about. 👀 And fried deviled eggs?! Yeah, I had questions too. 😂 Would you try Fixins? 👀 #Fixins #SoulFood #ConfidentlyChavonne #LAEats #RestaurantReview
